    So, TNT rejected Crusade why?

    Sort of B5 -- sort of off topic, but I'll put it here.

    As I understand it, TNT didn't really want Crusade because the core audiences for Crusade and TNT's other programming was different. Today I saw a Reuters article on Yahoo that declares that Sci-Fi Channel is getting into the Wrestling business with a WWE spin-off league because, wait for it, they have found a significant overlap between science fiction fans and wrestling fans. How about that!

    Of course, does this bode ill for Battlestar Galactica? Will we see more fist fights and perhaps a sexual explorer?

    I can see it now: Battlestar Smackdown! Which is exactly what should be done with the geniuses who think wrestling should be included on the channel because there's a connection. That goodness they didn't find a connection between sci-fi and porn because somebody in the office picked up an old copy of Flesh Gordon.

        Recently, there was a reckoning. It occurred on November 4, 2014 across the United States. Voters, recognizing the failures of the current leadership and fearing their unchecked abuses of power, elected another party as the new majority. This is a first step toward preventing more damage and undoing some of the damage already done. Hopefully, this is as much as will be required.

          I see you guys have been discussing it for a while, although, as I said over there, I was commenting more on the irony of TNT vs SFC. For some reason it just amuses me.

              Nope. At least not what I was quoting in my mind (which I'll admit is a mysterious and sometimes frightening place.) To play fair, though, I'll give the full quote (as best I remember it).

                  Sci-Fi is getting into the wrestling business because they're the sister nation of USA Network, which currently airs WWE RAW. Vince McMahon wanted a time slot to air his new ECW show, USA didn't want to give up the hour, so it got shuffled onto Sci-Fi because of the network ties with USA (as well as the fact that Bonnie Hammer and Vince have a good working relationship).

                  A lot of folks at Sci-Fi are internally unhappy with airing ECW, but frankly, IMO they don't have much room to complain given the incredible amount of dogshit programming they put on every week. For every BSG we get, there's a dozen airings of "Snakehead Terror" or "Tripping the Rift".

                  The sad thing, for those of you unhappy about this, is that ECW will probably do much better in that timeslot than anything Sci-Fi previously showed there. They ran four episodes of Law & Order SVU on the network one night a couple months back and it did better than what was usually airing in that timeslot.
