  • RIP John Spencer

John Spencer, who played a dedicated politico on "The West Wing" died of a heart attack Friday.

Damn sad, for me he will always be Captain Hugh Paulsen from Wing Commander IV.

This is sad news. I very much liked his character on The West Wing.

Wing Commander IV! That game ruled.
Recently, there was a reckoning. It occurred on November 4, 2014 across the United States. Voters, recognizing the failures of the current leadership and fearing their unchecked abuses of power, elected another party as the new majority. This is a first step toward preventing more damage and undoing some of the damage already done. Hopefully, this is as much as will be required.

It was an all-star cast. I mean, come on, when you've got the dad from 227, you're big time...

yesss, still, just wandering further off-topic - did the game in the states come out on as many CDs? 'cause in Europe it came on 6 (count 'em 6 ) CDs, never got any further than CD 2 myself...

"There are no good wars. War is always the worst possible way to resolve differences. It degenerates and corrupts both sides to ever more sordid levels of existence, in their need to gain an advantage over the enemy. Those actively involved in combat are almost always damaged goods for the rest of their lives. If their bodies don't bear scars, their minds do, ofttimes both. Many have said it before, but it can't be said to enough, war is hell. "

Yeah, WC4 came on 6 cd's (everywhere in the world), and not so long ago there was a special release which came on one DVD.
