  • First of all : Happy New Year Jan!

Secondly : whatevah. I do not plan on publishing more postings like my last one as I believe that it will only generate more nonsense-replies like this one :

Our planet Earth is the most dense populated world in the whole Universe; so dense that we are unmaking it by overpopulating it; consuming all itÆs natural resources without fully replacing it; and because we donÆt have yet the technology for colonisation other worlds like Mars; for instance; the Great Maker couldnÆt simply do not anything about it, he has done something to our genetic makeup.
But you tell me if this isn't miles off-topic...

/Going back to postings about the work of JMS now...

    • Happy New Year, TM!

Hey, if making sense was a requisite around here, I'd be in serious trouble!

          • Bewwy Manilow?

As in "Hew name was lola, she was a showgiwl
With yellow feadduws in huw haiw and a dwess cut down to thew
She would mewengue and do the cha-cha
And while she twied to be a staw
            Tony always tended bar
Acwoss the cwowded floow, they wowked fwom 8 til 4
They wuw young and they had each othew
Who could ask for mow? "

And that's only the Jonathan Ross-version!
I mean; if you want to go off-topic go all the way!

            • Raising thread drift to an art form

No, more along the lines of:

I write the thongth that make the whole world thing,

              No more...no more...

No, I don't see the point of Citizen Vantu ressurecting the thread but it's not really worth starting a response with that kind of heated question, now, is it?

(now where'd I put that hat...?)
I guess it is because I have read it at te the beginning and responded to that
not realizing that it is a dead tread. Besides that Takai is gay; is not a problem to me, because I am gay too and; he is a terrific acteur and that is all that really matters...

You should make a forum where you put those dead threads to fester, rot or
die; or simply delete them put them out of misery; good houscleaning is all that it takes.

Generally only threads that have been active in the last month will show up when you open a particular forum. In order to see anything older, AFAIK, you need to change the setting below the thread titles.

There's no real reason not to ressurrect old threads, Jan-Willem, but TM is right in that your response didn't really have anything to do with the original thread subject which was George Takai.

                    • George Takei on Star Trek: New Voyages.

"TrekToday reports that George Takei has agreed to play Hikaru Sulu in an upcoming episode of the fan series Star Trek: New Voyages. He's the second actor from the original Star Trek series to come onboard; another episode will feature Walter Koenig as Pavel Chekov. And here's what really makes this news great: Takei's episode will be written by none other than David Gerrold, the SF writer who also brought us Star Trek's Tribbles."

Hope this helps keep things on topic.
