Was the Lunar landings a fake?

We all had a big debate today at work, what do you think, did we ever land on the moon?

Ever see the movie "Capricorn One" with OJ? The movie was based on this lunar controversy.

Basically goes something like this, we are in a space race with the Russians who have beat us at everything so far. It is a popular belief that any nation who manages to deploy nuclear weapons on the moon would have a major advantage. We build a space ship in a few years, fly all the way to the moon (through a radiation belt between earth and the moon), land, send video/pictures back to earth, take off again and safely land back on the earth in 1969. It still stands as the greatest feat mankind has done yet Though duplicated numerous times shortly after no country, including us, has attempted it again even with all our advancements in technology. Even zooming/looking on Google moon you canÆt get close enough to see the platforms, jeep or flags left during the moon landings. WhatÆs up with that?

All I know is that it is 2005 and I cant get cell phone service in midtown Manhattan, but those live video feeds from outer space in 1969 sure looked clear to me! HMMMMMMMM??????

C'mon, now...at least use arguments that have some vague relationship to each other. One has nothing to do with the other since midtown Manhattan is choked with concrete and there's damned little getting in the way between the moon and earth.

Of course the Americans didn't land on the moon in 1969. Nor did they in 1970, 1971 and 1972. It was all faked from start to finish. Some dubious scheme about 'beating the Russians" or something improbable like that...

Also; America never had the A-bomb and never ever used it. All that so-called 'proof'? All Japanese Fakes! All to draw attention away from the fact that the Japanese had just attacked Mars and declared war on the Fighting Machines. And did you know that Hitler was in fact a very nice man who couldn't hurt a fly? He was just black-balled by the Western World for reasons unknown...

And for a more recent encore; do you remember those two towers in New York? FAKE FAKE FAKE!!! They never collapsed! It was all filmed in a studio using 20-inch scale-models that they first used in Indepence Day!

Also, about the Pentagon; there was no plane that crashed into it. As a matter of fact, the whole idea of a 'Pentagon' is just a product of mass-hallucination. The truth is that the real army is hidden away in a small matchbox in Dick Cheney's backpocket...

Is it that time of the year again? The time when conspiracy-theories come into full bloom?

Oh, and I don't believe that DougO exists either. It's just a scam, set up by the Zimbabwe Counterintelligence Forces.

      And as for Jan well...

Oh I get it. Kinda like that scene from a Family Guy episode.

Neil Armstrong: That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.

Director: Ok Cut!!! Perfect take, Neil. Alright everyone, 5 minute break. Smoke if you got them.

Neil Armstrong steps outside Stage 51, takes off his helmet and lights up a smoke.

Random Guy: Wow! It's Neil Armstrong. Hey, aren't you supposed to be on the moon?

        Neil Armstrong: Uhh...well...errr....

Neil hits the guy in the head with astronaut helmet, knocking out the dude. He then places the guy in the trunk of his car, and drives off. Tires squealing

Maybe if you want to talk conspiracy, JFK would have been a little more plausible A buddy of mine went through the whole controversy, which at the time, I had dismissed as little more than paranoia. When he finished explaining it to me, I had to admit that, while I was not entirely convinced of the whole idea, it did have merit in some ways.

You're right! Of course they have to be JMS scripts...or maybe Jeremiah...perhaps a M*A*S*H script would do...

And now I know what I'm going to do when I get off work! I'm going to go home and finish my project to transfer all of them into individual ring binders. Yep, that'll make me feel better, all right! So there!
