JMS has mentioned a couple of times that he had a cameo on the upcoming Thor movie. At Comic-Con he said that Branagh had decided that JMS could act and had him do a few things and even gave him lines. JMS is now showing up in the credits list for Thor.

After seeing Hemsworth in character, I decided he's pretty enough, I'll have to see this movie. Having JMS there is a bonus!

Per his own Facebook Page...Fan favorite Writer, producer, and "actor" J. Michael Straczynski aka JMS has scored a cameo in Marvel Studios upcoming Thor movie!

One other piece of fun: I did a cameo on the new Thor movie. It was supposed to be just a ten second deal, but director Kenneth Branagh decided (against the evidence) that I can act, so he kept putting me in more bits. We'll see what ends up on the cutting room floor, but it was a lot of fun." -J. Michael Straczynski

No, I didn't. It was a simple copy and paste for the first two names. But it's fun to imagine an announcer saying these names in sequence.

Well, that is easy, if you speak the respective languages (I do), but for an American speaking English only - that would sound funny -

J. Michael Straczynski will have a cameo role in the film (presuming, of course, that his part doesnÆt wind up on the cutting room floor or in the DVD extras.) He plays one of the local townies who finds the landed hammer (in a crater, as per his story) and, along with some cronies, endeavors to pick the thing up.
