  • "They Marched Into Sunlight" news

Liked the idea of a thread per flick and since it's the new 'movies' forum here we go.

Too bad there isn't any news to open the thread with...

Well, status has been changed from "announced" to "pre-production" on IMDB, apparently on Oct 27. So it seems to be greenlit. Don't know if that qualifies as "news".

Announced release date is still "2008", but that seems unrealistic. Still, it would appear that following "Ninja Assassin", this would be next to be released.

Has anyone read the book? I could look it up, but I'm hoping that a JMS fan can provide a little background on it and how JMS' writing fits (or doesn't) the story.

Well, I *have* the book but it's over 600 pages and I haven't even cracked it yet. As I understand it, the book concentrates on a two-day period during the Vietnam war and focuses on events there and here in the States.

Certainly that's a spam-bot? All it did was re-write Jan's post while changing some phrases randomly.

I wouldn't make any assumptions on what Jan does in the privacy of her own home!

In that case: she doesn't even wear a cape ... in public!

I'm just bumping this thread because Jan appears to have missed some fun moments involving speculation into her after hours habits.

I see Jan as not wanting to get bogged down by a cape personally. More Ninja-esque.

^^ Missed? I was ignoring it with the dignity inherent in my position! Suffice it to say that if I *were* to wear a cape (which I neither confirm or deny, btw) it would be invisible, like Wonder Woman's invisible plane.

Hmmm. Would that be a whole line of invisible clothing?

Er...that would be a resounding *no* since I have no desire to strike anyone blind.
