I'm anxiously awaiting this movie to see JMS' name on the big screen. If it does get nominated for an Oscar I will sit up and watch the show, even if I have to stay up until past midnight. I haven't done that for many years.
I am hoping that the editor, Joel Cox, and the post production crew will be able to complete Changling in time for the Cannes Film Festival. We should know by April 23, 2008 when the organizers of the festival announce the official schedule.
If the film is completed on time, I am hoping that J. Michael Straczynski and Kathryn Drennen will be able to attend.

Gah... Once again beaten by the speedy typing of Jan!
It has some interesting and strong competition. The Charlie Kaufman movie could be very strong, based on the script for it I read, while the Dardenne brothers have already won Cannes' Palme D'Or twice before. The Wim Wenders film also sounds fairly interesting.
