  • Complete Run of B5 Comics on eBay

I have listed a complete run of the B5 comics on eBay here

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=181202253270

and of course I'd love them to go to a fellow JMSNews person. No reserve but I'm hoping to get around $20 for the set.

I'm also selling off a set of four "left-over" comics I purchased while putting together to complete set. These are issues 3, 4, 5, 7 and are listed here.

    • Either or both of these would be nice to have but not for those prices:

      • Cool Stuff from my collection to raise funds for the #FreeBabylon5 campaign. Most stuff that's starting to happen is volunteer but registering the website and some buttons I'm having made up for New York Comic-Con cost money.

        So...Buy It Now!!

        • Oooo! I wish I had money. You are probably the one who used to beat me out of all those auctions for aluminum day planners all of those years ago. Here I was just trying to get one and you were probably stock piling them for this very day.

          • While I may have beaten you, this particular one is a pretty recent acquisition. The one I'm keeping doesn't have the box. It's odd, I kind of buy this sort of thing up and then sell it when I need (or want) money for something else. It's a very strange kind of savings account.

            • Yeah, I do that with a few things, but not B5 stuff. I have a lot, but most of it isn't worth much monetarily speaking and I don't have a lot of duplicates of anything. I hold on to it for sentiment sake. Of course, I don't really buy much from the realm of B5 any more. The last time I even looked for that day planner was probably ten years ago. The only items I look for every once in awhile are the trading cards I still need. I only need a few more, but they are expensive and/or rare.

Eight of the Volume 1 Official Magazines. Not cheap but these are pretty hard to find.

sadly the 35$ delivery charge is too much for me, otherwise I would smap them up.
"There are no good wars. War is always the worst possible way to resolve differences. It degenerates and corrupts both sides to ever more sordid levels of existence, in their need to gain an advantage over the enemy. Those actively involved in combat are almost always damaged goods for the rest of their lives. If their bodies don't bear scars, their minds do, ofttimes both. Many have said it before, but it can't be said to enough, war is hell. "

                  • Short Stories!

Ok not ebay, but a seller on Amazon has a sweet deal on two of the Amazing Stories magazines that featured B5 short stories by JMS.

                    Here and here.

I'm a little jealous cuz I spent more on these a while back. Just thought I'd spread the word. They are hard to find. Especially as cheap as this!

                    • Not sure about this. But if it's genuine some may find this of interest.

Hmm, doesn't look particulatly genuine. I mean, I'm sure IT IS exactly what's described in the listing, but 100 GBP!?! For amateur footage burned to Bluray with home printed covers... No Thanks! Seems like someone making a quick buck on convention footage.

Worse yet, they could all be upscaled youtube clips

                            • Here's an auction I ran across for the very rare B5 magazine issue #24, which contains the J. Gregory Keyes short story 'The Nautilus Coil'

                              http://www.ebay.com/itm/Babylon-5-Cr...item2a37635e0c

In my quest to collect the entire B5 canon, the six short stories were the hardest to find. I did ebay searches daily for months. Even though I have found them all, I can't shake the habit to search for them every now then. I figure by posting them on here, I might help someone as obsessed as me complete their collection. So here ya go!

Looking forward to reading The Nautilus Coil.

I won the auction with just one bid - thanks for the heads up!
