It was because buyers were reluctant to post negative feedback for fear of getting negative feedback from the seller as well, so often buyers would post positive feedback even if they didn't like the experience with that seller. The rule change allows buyers to post negative feedback without the fear of getting their own feedback scores lowered in the process.

    • It may seem strange since I had my perfect feedback score spoiled by retaliatory feedback not long ago, but I don't really care for the new policy. Once they made it possible for a response to be left, I thought that was all that was required. The only thing I might wish for in addition is to be able to sort out the negative or neutral feedback for ease of locating. It's usually easy enough to tell if a comment is spiteful or not.

Well that's silly. Instead of disallowing sellers from posting feedback, neither side's feedback should be posted until both sides have registered their opinion.

        Ah well.

A very rare Babylon 5 production-used prop. Sourced from the series prop design studio this is a Babylon 5 station credit chip, as used throughout the showÆs extensive 5 season run for monetary transactions.

          • This one kind of raises my suspicions. I don't know if it was this exact seller, but I've seen several of these before (though, granted, I didn't pay lots of attention-it could have been the same item not selling several times?). This seller did sell another one in the last 90 days according to his feedback. I'd want to check out what provenance he's got before bidding very much.

            • Can anyone site an episode where this item is actually seen?

Yeah, well, the rent is cheap, the pay is decent and I get to make my own hours.

I can't think of an episode where we saw one up close but this one does match or come close to the concept drawing we saw in the script books. That doesn't mean much, though, since I've seen that sort of thing sold at conventions but I'm pretty sure they're not official or licensed merchandise.

                • The thing I find slightly suspect is that the seller says the item is sourced from the 'series prop design studio.' As far as I know, there wasn't one as such; according to Dark and Bear who basically ran the props department, they pretty much made anything that couldn't be purchased. I'm happy to be proved wrong here, but why is the actual name of the company not used?

                  • A picture of the chit was also in the security manual. That's my guess for the origin.

In "Midnight on the Firing Line" you can see Ivanova holding one at the bar when Talia says "perhaps tomorrow we can start on better terms," and it has at least red, blue, and yellow colors on it, and the background is black.

Do we see one when Mr Garibaldi takes on the post office? Or when he has to pay for Londo's drink? Sorry, my memory is failing me

                          • Did anybody notice ground rule #7:

'Keep any harassing comments to yourself.'

Can't see why that would happen.

If a lower price doesn't work, perhaps a higher one will.
