Yeah, well, the rent is cheap, the pay is decent and I get to make my own hours.

          • Here's an item I've never seen come up on Ebay before. Babylon 5 backpack IIRC, it may be something that was only available with a big DVD set a few years back but I'm not certain of it.

Not exactly a charming sell, is s/he? And $200 over the cover price already? It'll be interesting to see if this sells.

                • But to be fair, there's no charge for shipping, so that really makes it worthwhile.

                  • If that sells, I'll eat my hat!

                    What a negative sales pitch!

Well not everyone has two copies of every book.... yet Jan.

Honestly though, given that it is now out of print. It doesn't seem that unreasonable, heck Cafepress shipping was about $70.00 if you got each book separately. A $130 premium for 14/15 books, works out to less than $10.00 a book. No leg work to find all the issues, sounds reasonable.

A little more positive sales pitch!

                      • I think it may be the fact that this set has been offered within days of the books being withdrawn from the sit. Perhaps a year from now, it wouldn't seem like that unreasonable a price. Right now, it seems a bit too opportunistic.

                        • Not to mention I wouldn't want to do business with someone with such obvious scorn for their customers and disinterest in courteous and helpful service.

                          • If you decide to buy from us; we expect positive feedback if you are satisfied. Then we will post for you; no exceptions.
Too bad for him/her that ebay changed the rules to where sellers can no longer post negative feedback on buyers.

edit: That is to say, if it wasn't clear, that if you buy this product and then post negative feedback, he can't do anything but leave you positive feedback (or just not give you any feedback I suppose). This new rule went in to effect in May.
