FYI i decided it was time to do another search on the availability of these books. I found a hardcover used(very good condition) on amazon... strangely almost the exact same price as the 3 softcovers sold for. So, assuming it arrives in "very good" condition, won't be needing those books anymore.

More shameless self-promotion here...I've just listed some more items on Ebay. including the Australian playing cards, the rare episodic CD "And the Rock Cried Out, No Hiding Place" and the unproduced Crusade script by Fiona Avery, "Value Judgments", the one that was to have featured Al Bester.

Tomorrow I'll probably list the Official Babylon 5 Magazines that featured the short stories.

Dearheart, I'm not depriving myself. These are *extra* copies, I'll still have a set. I've got quite a number of duplicates of the B5 magazine but I figured that these woud be sure to sell.

New member here looking for items on ebay

Hi,
I am a longtime Babylon 5 fan who just recently found this site and forum. I recently received Season 1 on dvd and have been watching all over again. I found B5 when TNT began showing it for the first time ('97 or so?). I kept up on things related to B5 for awhile but after I read the 3 trilogies I sort of drifted off. Found other weblogs and so on. I started checking in again after I heard of Richard Biggs' untimely passing.

In the last two weeks, I decided to try to finish collecting the comic books. I am only lacking #9. Then I remembered the short stories and decided to see where I could get copies. The only one I actually bought when they were being published was Genus Loci. I really want the one with Marcus. Then last night while scanning this forum, I see you might actually have copies to sell. O be still my beating heart!

Well, that's a rather lengthy intro but I am glad to be here. I also just ordered the first script book so I can see what everyone is talking about.

As you can see, I haven't gotten around to listing the magazines yet but I will. Only problem is, the Marcus story was in the Amazing Stories magazine, not the Official Babylon 5 magazine.

I didn't realize there were so many short stories printed. Well, I hope I can get in on the B5 mags. If you do know of someone who is willing to part with the incurable romantic one, do let me know. I was (and still am) a member of the estrogen brigade (fun webpage)...love that Marcus. I frequented the Temple of Booji!! I even named a British shorthair cat after him. My hubby and I think it would be a hoot to have a Zathras around. We may have one yet, who knows?

Well, I'll keep my eyes open and see what happens.

Since I've been reading that some folks want to pick up JMS's non-B5 stuff, here are some of his previous publications:

Shadows 6 contains a story by JMS from 1983-"A Last Testament for Nick and the Trooper".

Tales from the New Twilight Zone anthologizes (is that a word?) almost all of the episodes that JMS wrote for that series. I love this book because it's the first sample I found of JMS telling the 'tale of the tale' and it enhanced the stories.

Demon Night You can probably find the re-release from a couple of years ago, too.

Delicate Creatures Like all really good fairy tales, this one has a serious subtext. The artwork is really great in this book, too.

I am also looking for a copy of the #9 Comic to complete my set. I believe it is called Duet for Human and Narn in C#. It was also part of a set called Shadows Past and Present, I believe. I am posting it on want it now on ebay tonight as well.

Anybody recognize this rifle? I hardly consider myself a B5 weapons expert but I've recognized some pretty obscure things at times. This one doesn't ring any bells with me. Anybody else?

I don't recognize it either. How many non-human hand weapons do we actually see in the series? It's definitely not a Centauri weapon, and I can't think of any others we ever see.

Is that one of the guns used by the aliens in that episode with the two crewmen who ended up hiding with the telepaths? Just a guess.
