Allegedly there were at some (?) point UK and German DVD releases which had the original original pilot, but later switched to the TNT version since the UK DVD I snagged a few years ago was the TNT edition. So even if you located one of those DVDs, still a Coin Flip as to which version it might be. The German version I received had the more recent cover art and came in the paper/cardboard-y DVD case. But was the earlier version - ! The scraps of info I read maybe indicate that the odds might be greater if one found a german version, but still a Coin Flip.

Nice! I don't think I've ever seen that version. You may want to consider selling the magazines with the short stories separately in order to maximize the return. And if you have the Amazing Stories short stories, the same applies as they're even more rare. Good luck!!

Extra trivia related to the 1993 pilot on DVD.

Certain Region-2/PAL UK and German DVDs might have the original 1993 release rather than the TNT version, but there may be additional options. Noticed a Turkish version: "Babylon 5 - The Gathering - Toplanti" which was visually a near match to "Space Center Babylon 5 - Die Zusammenkunft" and also included similar English/German audio tracks plus subtitles for English, German, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, Czech, Polish, Turkish, and Dutch. Decent price, but $15 international shipping. Waited a full CC Billing Cycle then Made an Offer. Just arrived and is indeed the 1993 original! Perhaps this can be found in other languages on account of the subtitles? English/German Audio + Turkish subtitles = Turkish language release. Doubt it would play in a standard Region 1 DVD player, but can be viewed on a PC.
