Looking at how many background jumpsuits are popping up these days at inflated prices, I wonder what kind of fandom people think B5 has!

Can't see it shifting at THAT price. Jeez. Not exactly the most exciting prop either is it!?
Captain John Sheridan: I really *hate* it when you do that.

    Kosh: Good!

    • I don't see it going for that price either. But it probably reflects what the seller originally paid for it. I don't recall anything from that auction going for less than $850 or so.

Guess I've been really lucky to have gotten all the stuff I have for so little!

      • Yeah, that's a lot of dough for a not-very-remarkable prop. I paid less than half that for G'Kar's chest!

The first year posted to B5 was tough, G'Kar had to raise funds for the Narn regime any way he could. Even if it meant selling his body...

              • Yeah, riding on JMS' coattails here. But I was planning to list all this stuff anyway.

Got several B5 and JMS-related items up for auction. Most of you probably have this stuff but if you let all your fellow-fans who may not hang out here know, I'd sure appreciate it.

I'm also going to list a few more of the mini-comic that *aren't* autographed.

                Thanks, all.

Some good stuff there. Some of it I have. I just *might* go for one of the items, even if I am at Fedcon when the auction ends. At least you would know why the reaction is a bit late, then Jan

                  • I bid as high as $650 for the desk. I wanted it but didn't want to go that high. It ended at $721.00

I would have expected it to end higher, but not as much money among B5 people, probably.

I would have made a bid, had I lived closer, but an ocean and a continent away . . .

                        • Set of all B5 script books, etc. goes for $1800 USD:

The seller said he was letting them go at a loss - did all that material really cost more than $1800?

It's not that far off... This does also include all the Echoes books AND other voices. My collection comes close to that, but I sure didn't spend $1800 to acqire it!

                            • Lost money? Not a chance. Looks like the seller may have ended the listing once he got a bid but at a rough glance, he made at least $6-700.00 profit.

Man, was that a hard ad to read!

"There are no good wars. War is always the worst possible way to resolve differences. It degenerates and corrupts both sides to ever more sordid levels of existence, in their need to gain an advantage over the enemy. Those actively involved in combat are almost always damaged goods for the rest of their lives. If their bodies don't bear scars, their minds do, ofttimes both. Many have said it before, but it can't be said to enough, war is hell. "
