      Good point.

On topic: I've found several B5 vhs on sale. Is there anything special on any of them worth getting?
With one exception, nope. There aren't any additional scenes or anything on them, they're just the same old thing.

The one exception is the original release from Columbia House. Their release of "The Gathering" was the original version. Later, they replaced it with the TNT edit, the one that's on dvd. It's the only place in North America where you can still buy that original version. Of course, the codes and everything are the same, so there's no way to know which version you have until you watch it.

If you've got the dvds - and I'm fairly certain you do - there's no point in getting the vhs for any extras. Maybe for letting kids watch in their room.

I was hoping you were wrong, but you weren't. The packaging gives no suggestion about being the revised version, but as I hit play my hopes were dashed with the phrase " TNT presents a special edition of...."

          • Yet more script books up on ebay from Brancamp books.

Now issue 11 @ $150 while high, I can understand given the content of the book.

But issues 3 & 4 at $125 each? That seems a bit much.

            • Legions of Fire trilogy for sale!

This isn't quite the appropriate place for this since it is not yet available on eBay, but . . .

I just finished reading the "Legions of Fire" trilogy and will be posting it on eBay unless someone here wants to grab it first. I am not a book seller, but here is my best description of the books' conditions.

Book 1 - The Long Night of Centauri Prime. I purchased this new, but the first day I was reading it my son spilled some water on it. So, it is in perfectly readable condition, but the pages are slightly "wavy" when you look at the unbound edges.

Book 2 - Armies of Light and Dark. I purchased it new and it is in very good condition. Frankly, it looks brand new.

Book 3 - Out of the Darkness. This is the out-of-print volume that is so hard to find outside of the online auction sites. I purchased this used and it is in very good condition. There is a little wear and tear, but it is easily an 8 out of 10.

If anyone in the U.S. wants the set, I'll sell it for $35 (Out of Darkness is going for anywhere from $25-$50 in recent auctions). For anyone out of the U.S. the price would be $35 + actual shipping fees.

If no one shows interest here in the next week, I'll update this post and put the set up on eBay.

p.s. If anyone wants photos, just let me know and I'll forward them on to you.

              • The seller with the $1300 set of script books has gone down to $950 now.

There are a couple of sets of the comic books for decent prices.
                First set. Second set.

                  • Are you looking to sell them? It's been quite a while since I've seen any of the Fan Club scripts for sale on Ebay so I'm not really sure what people would be willing to pay these days. You could get back what you'd paid, I'm pretty sure.

I don't think so. I was just reading here, and saw the mention of script books, and seeing what sounded like some outrageous prices...

What I would probably sell, at some time, is a bunch of 7 inch? poseable B5 figures made by Exclusive Premiere, unopened. I grabbed a bunch when they were marked down to 15 at Toys-R-Us.

I also have the odd Micro-Machine 3 pack of ships, and a bunch of in between size pairings of Ships and People (Marcus with White Star/Ivanova with Starfury/Vir with Centauri Cruiser). Those figures are smaller then the others, but I think the ships are bigger then the Micro Machines.

                      Ahh, the good old days.

I really kick myself for never springing the $100? for the big G'kar bust from thestation.com. Crap.

Edit: OK, yeah, I can see various figures and stuff on there..

At about $45 per book. Seems like this seller is hitting on a reasonable price.

                          • 'bout time. He's the one who was looking for $1300 before. He tried a reduction to (I think) $1100 a couple of weeks ago and that didn't work. He also seems to have removed some of the more obnoxious verbiage but that's still some really difficult auction copy to read.
