  • Good memory, Omaha. I knew I'd seen that cover and couldn't remember where.

I'm with Omaha, it's sure to be the Special Edition of the pilot.

Oh well, I'll have a copy to keep at work in case I have some free time.

It does seem like blatantly incorrect advertising though...

Yeah, well, the rent is cheap, the pay is decent and I get to make my own hours.

I doubt if anybody but the long-time fans even know/understand about there being two versions of the pilot.

        • Now Im confused... It is or it is not the original pilot with OST from Copeland? Because I saw The Gathering few times, but never the original one. And I would want to see that one, but since I dont have VHS player, I can only but it from DVD release.

          • The original version was never released on DVD in the US. I understand that it was in some other regions but I don't know which offhand.

ETA: I just found an old post that said that the German DVD is the original.

I have a version I bought here in Belgium.
It's definetly the original version (I have the movie box with the 'enchanced' version).

              • Here's an auction for the Australian playing cards. These have always been pretty rare and it's a good price for them. I once sold a deck for $35.

I snagged a few in a previous auction and was pleased with the experience.

I wish the version that had come in my Complete Universe box set had been the superior, revised version. Apparently buying it in the UK could net you either version, with no difference on the packaging to indicate which it is.

                  • Thought I'd give everyone a heads up. I've re-listed a few items that did not sell when I had them listed two summers ago and there may be a few more things going up in the next few days. So far there is a Crusade Cast and Crew Jacket along with scripts for "Whatever Happened to Mr. Garibalide?" and "The Paragon of Animals". Keep an eye out here for potentially some additional items.

Thank You for offering the Crusade Cast and Crew Jacket once again. I tried getting this jacket a few times, but was unsuccessful. I'll be very happy when it comes in because I already have a Babylon 5 Club Jacket that I purchased through E-Bay a couple of years ago. The design on the back of the Club Jacket is same as the one that Bruce Boxleitner is wearing in one of the special feartures on the Lost Tales DVD. On one shoulder it has the Ranger emblem patch and the other shoulder has the Babylon 5 shield patch.

                        • Just picked up scripts to Episode 402 and 504.

Someone introduced me to having the actors sign them. I love the looks on their faces as the go through an old script. It's better than having the autograph.

Ok now I'm curious ... Was it Jan or me who popped that little script-signing cherry?

Sorry Omaha, wasn't you. Ms. Schroeder gets the credit.

You need to put up a post about your podcast.

I dunno about pimping myself out that way ... why don't you start a post about it?
