Volume 5 for a mere $100.00 or best offer
Still sealed in the plastic, so there's no way to know if all the pages are actually there or not.

          Hi,

          Feeling pretty good today.

Yesterday I popped into my local (to work) bookstore, as usual I went downstairs to the 2nd hand section and walked purposefully over to the Sci-Fi books.....and there they were.

A full set of TechnoMage Trilogy, Psi-Corp Trilogy and the Centauri Trilogy. I felt that all my birthdays had come together and since it is my birthday next week I decided to buy them

Cost: EUR 35.90, which by my poor maths would equate to approx $26, as a EURO would get me $1.45.

Meaning EUR 35.90 would equate 52.06 $ --- but for all nine books, it's still a very good deal.

              • That's an amazing price, considering "Out of the Darkness" alone often is sold for around $80 or more on ebay.

Peter David commented on Saturday about the Centauri trilogy ... Two of the books had a "normal" run. The third was shorted by some 20,000 copies, and he often sees copies of that for sale in the 80 buck range.

OS, the first person to ever have Peter David sign his scriptbook. That's right. I popped Peter's cherry.

I saw and talked to him in the dealer room, but didn't have my OV script book. I did thank him for letting it be published though. I was so excited about meeting Jerry Doyle, (get your mind out of the gutter Omaha) that it never occured to me to bring things for others to sign.

lol I know what you mean. I've done that. Focus on one or two "main" guests and forget about all the others. It happens. Just try not to do that next time.

It degenerates and corrupts both sides to ever more sordid levels of existence, in their need to gain an advantage over the enemy. Those actively involved in combat are almost always damaged goods for the rest of their lives. If their bodies don't bear scars, their minds do, ofttimes both. Many have said it before, but it can't be said to enough, war is hell. "

                        • Not to nitpick, but I think they're meant to be heat dissipation panels. The station is fusion powered. :P

Very jealous though, I'd love a model of the station.

                          • The one Phaze has is really awesome. I had it at one point put I was afraid to try to do the panels myself. If I had a quibble about it at all, it was that the Black Omega starfury that the same company also did was much larger than the station. Here's what we're talking about.

Part of the O'Neill station design is also that there are panels to reflect light into the station:

                              jms 1992:

heat dissipators and optical routing panels on the station to channel cool light inside
