Thanks for the reminder, cptkleid, and good luck. While I do think some of your items are overpriced (sorry!), I think that with those extras the scripts are probably a pretty decent buy. You don't see the schedules and set plans very often, folks. Even I, the Script Queen, only have a few of those. Anyway, as time passes, fewer of the genuine production scripts are going to be coming available, I'm sure.

Me too!! I've learned to only bid the absolute maximum I'm willing to pay and then forget the auction, though. Too expensive otherwise, especially if there are scripts involved.

I'm trying my hardest not to remember how much more than that I paid for them, I think I'd explode if I did!

            Good for you.

              Exactly.

The only extra thing I do is to wait until ~1 hour before the auction closes, to bid at all. If it's already above my maximum, I obviously don't bid.

              • I'm a last minute kinda bidder...and this time it screwed me over.

I thought that *today* was the 8th, not yesterday. So I didn't check anything yesterday.

And the script I've been making a fuss about this whole time....

...poof. Gone. And cheap (comparitively) too. I'm kicking myself.

                    • I love ebay with regards to finding some cool stuff related to B5. I know that my wife got me a couple of cool watches this past christmas. One was a promotional watch that was used from SIERRA FX for the promotion of a video game that never materialized. It has an image of a shadow vessel in space on the face.
A couple of other things that I've purchased over the years have been:
                      Crusade VCD's
                      Limited Edition CD Rom
                      Babylon 5 Bloopers DVD
I'll soon order a few of the models and other related props once I'm better off financially.

I wouldn't shout too loudly about that one around JMS ...

                        • I agree. I didn't realize it wasn't an official release of bloopers until after I saw it, which is unfortunate because it is quite funny.

                          • I blew all my money at Comicon!

I was checking ebay for B5 related items, not knowing this thread was here and lo and behold... an entire 5 box set of the series dvd (Which I don't have yet and told Jan and Jon about my tale of woe), and it's only $120 + s/h. The auction ends tonight unfortunately and I will still be broke in my paypal account.

::sigh:: such is my lot in life. Affordable price, and I'm broke. I have money to buy it at old price, and it's either gone or priced higher.
