Okay, time to turn the subject away from my stuff and on to some other really cool stuff. Here's a seller who has Fiona Avery's 'Value Judgments script, a Crusade camera slate and other cool stuff like jackets and the B5 Treatment and Bible (that's okay, the ones I'm selling already have bids )

Looks like s/he's still listing things. 'The Long Road' script just appeared.

Thank you for the plug! I am currently still uploading items and have around 20 more to go. Things that will be up shortly include: quite a few more scripts (some including storyboards), press kits, screener tapes, the Crusade Writer's Bible and a few more items.

For those interested, though it does not say so in the auctions, I will combine shipping.

Hello, I was the winner of Jan's "Gut Reactions" auction. It was always my plan to keep only a photocopy of the script for myself, and re-sell the original on eBay. (I'm happy with just a photocopy, but I knew I'd most likely have to invest in an original to get it). So I've just listed the "Gut Reactions" script again:

As a bonus, the auction also includes copies of Peter David's 3 other B5/Crusade scripts. My copy of his Crusade "Ruling from the Tomb" script is a different draft than the one Cptkleid currently has for auction.

still not sure what happened. Bill Mumy and I were told that the script we produced was too expensive, having too many characters and too many sets. We turned in a rewrite giving them a script that had fewer characters and fewer sets than almost any other show that's aired thus far. To the best of my knowledge, the rewrite was never even read. As for the future, nothing is definite.

Bill: Absolutely, but you have to understand, our script was assigned to us, the same way that I think æDay of the DeadÆ was assigned to Neil. Initially, we had gone to Joe with four or five paragraphs of stories we thought would be good to tell, loglines that we created, and Joe said, æNo no, IÆm outlining the entire season; hereÆs your assignment,Æ and the assignment basically dealt with the Centauri war. Originally, it was much earlier on, and basically the thrust of our script was that the Centauri were starting a war and making it look like other people were behind it, and it was also dealt with part of the arc thatÆs no longer there, which was Londo preparing to rise to emperorship and somebody here to take his place, a new Centauri ambassador, which was part of our script as dictated by Joe. IÆm very disappointed that it all went down the way it did; it didnÆt feel right to me and still doesn't, but we were paid for it, and itÆs their show, they can do whatever they want; thatÆs show business.

When I asked Bill Mumy to autograph the 'Gut Reactions' script a few years ago he seemed sort of hurt that it hadn't been used. He was as surprised as you were, Joe that it'd been published to the departments at all.
