  • Found on Ebay / Etsy / Redbubble, Etc...

Several folks have expressed the desire to find various B5 related things that they missed when they were first available. I've run across a couple of items that might be of interest. I'm just passing this along as a matter of interest-I don't know anything about the sellers at all.

    Crusade Writer's Bible

There's probably not anything in it that most people don't already know but it's a very rare item.

    Official B5 Magazines

If you wonder why you might want outdated magazines, remember that 3 of the B5 short stories are in them as well as the B5 chronology. For my money, they'd be worth it just for the JMS column at the end of each issue.

Same here ... I only have a handful of those issues, mostly the later ones. Other than the 3 short stories, my favorite parts are the hints of what would have come on Crusade, and the JMS article where Londo and G'Kar took over the writing.

I liked the pictures a lot, too. And the articles about behind-the-scenes people.

If anybody ever sees a Fan Club Ranger Pin, please let me know. I'm still trying to replace that after the robbery in February. I did get the Psi Corps pin replaced at least.

hehe acually i have only boughten 1 thing before on ebay, and that was a lego set. :P

The magazines were something i never would have looked for.

As far as what type of things i collect... cards, ships(micro-machine/diecast/models), books, and the occational T-shirt that catches my fancy.

And for the soon to be posible bidding war with omaha... im not sure yet. Part of me just wants it to go cheap to either of us I have some days to think about how much i want it.

Which of the trilogies was it that somebody posted it was increasingly hard to find the last book, does anybody remember? I meant to be on the lookout for that.

Jeanne's techno-mage trilogy ... It's damned near impossible to get in any stores around here ... Borders and Narns & Noble can't even order book 2 of that set in ... I had to go through Amazon to get it ... Both stores have at least one copy of each of the other two trilogies.

If you're just looking for the last 3 issues, which have the stories in them, we can work something out between us ... I already have copies of those, and it's the other issues I'm interested in. This could benefit both of us.

Okay, I'll keep an eye out. I'm not sure, but I may even have an extra copy. I'll post if I do or if I find it online.

I have all the B5 books from both publishers, so I didn't even think about it. And then I found out Steve didn't have them ... I remembered getting both of the other trilogies for him when they were new, and thought he had picked this up already, but that wasn't the case.

For Christmas, I tried to get them ... Now, I already had a copy of the first version of Shadow Within, signed by Jeanne and dedicated to him (oh yeah, I was a plannin fool back then), and picked up books 1 and 3 ... then found it impossible to get book 2. I tried to get both of the major chains to special order it, and they were unable to. I checked with used bookstores and specialty stores in the area, to no avail.

I finally was able to get one from Amazon, and in taking a look at the "used" prices of the trilogies there, they're all looking pretty expensive. I'm glad I have what I do, that's for sure.

The only books i don't have is the psi core ones. Was hoping the Sci-Fi book club would do a hardcover of it, but don't think they ever did... at least not that i noticed. So.. just haven't bothered getting the paperbacks yet. Of course i should before they disapear and have to ebay fight omaha for them.
