As I understand it, there was some REALLY nice unique stuff amongst it – the sort of things you’d expect someone in his position to have, and if he was thinking of donating something to a museum then something from that lot wouldn’t be out of place. Some of it went for equally impressive prices. . .
I just wasn’t expecting to read, in effect, he’d sold genuine rarities like the book of G’Kar, Battle of the Line medals or the Na’Ka’Leen feeder marquette, etc. years ago to clear out space – but kept what basically boils down to things like old out of print magazines, comics, baseball caps and book markers, etc.
Americans are just weird to me.

If you're going to be worried every
time the universe doesn't make sense,
you're going to be worried every
moment of every day for the rest of
your natural life.
Nothing to do with 'Americans', I don't think. Having sold (and bought) many things over the years, I can tell you that what I chose to sell (or not) is dependant completely on the moment, the reasons for selling and (often) the accessibility of the items. I'd never expect anything different from anybody else.

I tried to resit, but of course failed in the end, so now I have placed an order for some B5 magazines
To bad the shipping costs are so high that the good ones are out of the question.

Looney's actual name is Joseph, so it is a conversation started when I have JOE'S COMICS across my chest. LOL

Joe Store
I figured the arrival of Joe's people would cause some initial issues.
Definitely some neat stuff that people have been looking for, especially the B5 Magazine issues with the short stories and the Peter Ledger brochure (I don't think there's many of those out in the wild, although obviously more now). It will be interesting to see what else they unearth for the store in the future.

It looks like items are quickly disappearing. There were 109 when I briefly got on yesterday and now there are 49. Nothing that I don't already have really appeals to me, though.

Sadly i missed my chance to get much it seems. I didn't get back to the site until this morning.
Still ordered a VHS tape. Which is kind of silly, but will be a fun thing for the collection. Will see if i can up-rez it at all with my equipment.(assuming the tape is in OK shape that stuff is getting old!!!!)
Hopefully didn't miss out on any CD's i didn't have. I think i had most of them already... but been a while since i looked through them so not sure.
