The convention is to benefit the Roberson Museum and Science Center, so there is a small charge for it.

I think what Jan specifically means is we would like some evidence of the alleged "good time". ..... ?????

Now, Looney, we're not nosey here! But Carrie's a *great* Londo cosplayer as well as a fairly new fan and I'd enjoy seeing her on the panel.

              I am VERY nosey.

And we really don't have enough (or any) B5 Cosplayer's work around. At least not any I can think of other than possibly a few photos of people who were in Phoenix and Galveston in some old threads.

Some people are stunning in purple.

That is fantastic. With a different figure in hand that pic would look SOOOO familiar. LOL

I just put on the Discon 3 ideas spreadsheet: "25 years since The Best Season of Science Fiction Television: The 3rd Season of Babylon Five"

Excellent. For a screenshot that looks like a posed picture. LOL

They have sessions on Wednesdays and either Saturday or Sunday. Unfortunately, today it appears they killed my panel idea as it is no longer on the Developing page of the spreadsheet (we hadn't got that far on Saturday). I was working so I couldn't argue my case. Due to all of the situations involved this year a lot of the programming items won't be able to fit as it will be a smaller WorldCon than usual - now in December - so it might have been eliminated later, but I am still a bit upset. Maybe next year in Chicago we'll be able to have a nice B5 panel.

That's too bad! I'm sorry to hear it. The new venue is in part due to the original one closing permanently? That really sucks! Well, let's hope for the future. Thanks for the update!

Yes, the original hotel was not going to reopen which is unfortunate. The "new" hotel might have been originally an overflow hotel, but due to the current situation the attendance is expected to be low and it should work.

There are some panels in development which do mention B5 which are still around, but may still be purged later. One is a debate of which show had the best ending. Another one refers to B5, but doesn't appear to really discuss it (it wonder about music in the future). A third is about Martian Independence and B5 is an example in the notes.

Ressurecting this thread because there's definitly going to be a B5 panel at the Special Edition SDCC next month! Yes, folks, your Intrepid Reporter and First One Troy Rutter will be hosting a panel on Friday, Nov. 26. So if you'll be at SDCC and would rather talk B5 than shop on Black Friday, that's the place to be!
