You can pre-order the audio CD or download through Audible on Amazon.

And wouldn't that be weird for Jurasik to read?! I mean I think it would be strange to read aloud my friend's autobiography. I mean without being sarcastic about it. LOL
I'm looking forward to hearing Peter's narration. I think if anything the hard part would be keeping horror out of his voice.

Or commentary like he reads a line and then says, "Yikes" or "Ouch" or "That sucks." or "I know what you mean." or "You ate what?"

I asked JMS if he'd be directing Peter J in the reading. Also, since there are footnotes in the book (yes, some just as fun as the ones in the script books but not mostly), I wndered how they'd be handled. JMS said:

OK. I finished it last night. Definitely lots of personal stuff we never knew about and some detailed information about things we knew only some of the story. Having been following Joe online since the late 80's, a lot of stuff that will be a surprise to a non-fan reader I already was aware of. Looking forward to the spoiler thread when it is released as well as asking Joe some questions about what he didn't discuss in the book.

I am a bit lost. What have you all read? Is it a preview?

ARC copies is what we've read. ARC stands for Advance Review Copy and they're generally uncorrected proofs sent out to reviewers and (I believe) bookstores to generate 'buzz'. They're generally not supposed to be sold - says so right on the cover but some generally escape into the wild. I found one for a *great* price on Ebay. Moderate to severe obsesion has it's benefits.

Okay if you are so smart, where is the best place to order it and get the audio book?

Well that is annoying. Yet another giveaway I didn't win. What is the point in entering if you aren't going to win.

I know, right? It's like that stupid requirement that you buy a ticket if you want to win the Lottery! Sheesh!

I started listening to the audio book yesterday. I'm in to chapter 5 now. I am a big fan of the way Peter reads Joe's words. Very listenable and he puts in some good emotions at all the right parts. Very good and captivating so far!

Very odd review. Almost has to have been translated??

                              J. Michael Straczynski's Becoming Superman is significantly more than a cloth to-wealth story - and not just in light of the fact that he goes from clothes to newfound wealth about multiple times.
I'm assuming that the writer meant 'rags to riches'.

So I requested thsi book from my loving partner. She got a notification saying it had "shipped" on Friday.
                                literally shipped, on a ship.
It'll be in Finland end august,,,,,
"There are no good wars. War is always the worst possible way to resolve differences. It degenerates and corrupts both sides to ever more sordid levels of existence, in their need to gain an advantage over the enemy. Those actively involved in combat are almost always damaged goods for the rest of their lives. If their bodies don't bear scars, their minds do, ofttimes both. Many have said it before, but it can't be said to enough, war is hell. "
