As a relatively new user, I am glad for that! When I first saw Ubik's post, I thought, "He probably didn't intend for it to read like that!"

Hey I did the time for "the last time." I thought we moved past this already. Life goes on! I made a horrible, horrible mistake, but I thought that was what it was going to take to "keep the lights on." I paid for my crime and now I just want to move on.

It was the following quote, which can be interpreted in at least two different ways:

Okay so after multiple attempts to reactivate my account I have given up and started from scratch. Since my main email address is already in their system I tried to setup a new account with a different email address. The same basic situation has happened, no email confirmation to activate the account. I have, however, been able to send a few Private Messages. I've sent a couple to Markas over the last couple of days with no luck. I have spoken with Sinclair who tells me Markas isn't checking in very ofter, but was nice enough to let me know that they too would try to contact Markas.

So does anyone know someone over at B5TV I should contact to try to get this situation resolved?

Both Markas and Sinclair posted today. I can put in a post on that thread if you like? What's your handle over there? Markas said:

I am trying to resolve the login issues, which have prevented new people from joining. So far, the Rim is off a bit.

Nice seeing some old-timers around the place.

Yes Markas answered my PM. Hopefully things will be sorted out soon. Thanks for the heads up!

Antony advises that he worked on the registration system. This is a test. I assume it works.

Please let anyone know...anywhere, that we can be registered at again.
It appears that you are now able to register at B5TV.com.

I don't know what to do. The password for the new account I setup no longer works. I have gotten no emails and I can now no longer check the PMs I was getting there.

Are you using a gmail account for email?
                        Because at b5tv.com:
                        Gmail email addresses banned
Due to Google's failure to secure its email systems against abuse, our messageboard systems are under continual attack from Gmail users. To this end we have had to regrettably ban Gmail/Googlemail users from subscribing to our messageboard.

Don't worry, you can still join
The easiest way is to use a non-Google email account to subscribe to our messageboard. Please use an email address such as one provided by your ISP, university, employer or Hotmail. Please click here to register with it in the normal way.

                        Don't have another email?
We will consider new accounts for Gmail users if you have NO other email address available to you. Please email @b5tv.com stating your required username. This process is not automatic, and we reserve the right to refuse applications we believe to be fradulent. Otherwise If you have a non-Google email address, please click here to register with it in the normal way.

We are sorry this action must be taken, but until Google takes reponsibilty for the security of its systems we have no other choice but to protect ourselves and our users from malicious behaviour.

Note: this does not affect existing users.

                          Because at b5tv.com:
When I originally setup my current account I did use a Gmail account. Then last week I saw that they were banned. I changed the email address attached to the account to a Yahoo email address, which is right before I heard back from Markas via PM. As of reading that you (Kraig) said I could register again my password no longer works. I just tried to re-register and it tells me that User name is already in use, but it still won't recognize the password. I have tried many times. I was talking to people using the Private Message system, but now I can't login to check to see if Markas has replied to my reply. And I have yet to receive any email notifications on any email address attached to an account.

This was the original problem I had more than a month ago. When everyone started discussing if it was time to move beyond the rim I tried to sign in using a very old account. It would not recognize the password, so I asked to reset the password and never received a reset email. After trying that several times as well as trying the "Contact Us" button several times I gave up and setup a new account using the handle Looney. As you know I could not get it confirmed to post, but like I've said I could Private Message.

I guess my only recourse is to try to reset my new password or try to use the "Contact Us" button again. Maybe that part of the system is working again.

I am going to hold off on doing anything for a bit in case you have more advice.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TRYING TO HELP KRAIG, JAN, & ANYONE ELSE I AM FORGETTING.

                          UPDATE:
04.21.2017 So I tried to reset the password. I eventually got it to work. There was a PM from Markas waiting. It appeared Markas had setup everything exactly like I wanted it, but I still can't post anything. I guess everything got setup, but no approval to post.

Finally got everything sorted over there with Markas so I can post. WOW was that a lot of effort to spread, I mean, share my thoughts on Babylon 5.

Hi! I got into B5 for the first time earlier this year, and I'm totally in love with the series. I really would like to register on b5tv.com to engage in the forum; I really like to write so would definitively appreciate to share my thoughts on my favorite episodes; as I have previously enjoyed a lot on a Trek forum.

However, one needs a password to complete the registration. I have mailed [email protected] but don't get any answer - would you be able to help me?

                              Thanks a lot.

                              Klas H.

Reddit is a lot more active TBH. But I totally appreciate forums present a nice place to share things.
Captain John Sheridan: I really *hate* it when you do that.

                                Kosh: Good!
