Okay, folks, cross your fingers *tight*!! Apparently the very first official Netflix panel for SDCC has been announced. Let's hope that there might be an official Sense8 Panel!!!

EXCLUSIVE: We hear that Marvel’s Jessica Jones spinoff Luke Cage will be heading down to Comic-Con next month. In a SDCC debut for the upcoming series, Mr. Cage himself, star Mike Colter, wil…

San Diego Comic-Con has slowly (or not so slowly) become the TV con, with television taking over as one of the most represented mediums at the convention. Almost every TV show imaginable has been to the convention at least once. For years, though, there’s been one notable absence: Netflix. That looks to change this year, … Netflix To Bring Marvel’s Luke Cage to SDCC 2016 Read More »

Now the question is – will Luke Cage be the only Netflix panel, or will we also get an official Sense8 panel this year as well?

And... we have JMS' schedule for SDCC!

This is also the only panel currently scheduled where folks can come and discuss and hear about Sense8.

Room 6DE holds about 875 people. This is much better than last year.

      And also:

30CDE looks like it holds about 475 people. Looks like SDCC noticed how badly they did assigning rooms last year.

        Too bad Joe didn't say:
... be there or be tesseracted.

        or

... be there or be hypercubed.

          And...we've got signing info!

          So to recap:

          7/22 - 3PM-4PM - signing - AA21
          7/22 - 5:30-6:30 PM - Spotlight - 6DE
          7/23 - 2:00-3:00 PM - Writing Q&A - 30CDE

Looking at this and knowing how lines are, I'll probably need to try to be very close to the front of the line for JMS' signing in order to make sure that I get into the room for his spotlight. If there's something particularly popular in the slot before his spotlight, I may need to skip the signing entirely. I hope not - I've got a *bunch* of cool stuff to get him to sign as well as a photo for a friend. I'll know more this Friday when the schedule for 7/22 is posted.

The full schedule comes out starting Wednesday, one day at a time so if I see any other items of particular interest I'll be sure to post them.

Found this in a newsletter from Patricia Tallman:

I'll be signing at San Diego Comic Con on Thursday only! 10am -2:30pm! Up in the Sails Pavillion.

Thursday evening; I'm on a panel at 5:30pm "The Most Dangerous Women at Comic Con" Room: 24ABC.

I wonder why she is only signing Thursday? Seems like it would be the worst day for that.

Might be the only day she'll be there? Don't know. I'm hoping to get to her panel but I won't be in town in time for her signing. But really, there's no bad day at SDCC. EVERYbody ends up in the Sails Pavilion, especially this year since they'll be handing out the bags and lanyards and publications there since the badges have been mailed (my precioussss )

Usually JMS' blurb for the schedule is the same as for the announcement but it looks like something big's up:

And so...Skywatch guesses are now closed for July 18-25. That would be like shooting fish in a barrel. Not there can't be a winner, just the ones who guessed already have it.

Saturday's schedule is up. No news in the panel description but it's always fun to read what JMS writes.

I suppose it shouldn't, but I've always been pleasantly surprised for the most part at the quality of the questions JMS gets.

If he listed everything he's well known for, the schedule would need a whole 'nother page!

I disagree. B5 is the biggest thing he his known for and why was he nominated for some of those awards?!

I'm mostly posting to break the curse of the thread killer.
Speaking personally I loved his spider man and thor otuput and way too many other thigns to mention.
"There are no good wars. War is always the worst possible way to resolve differences. It degenerates and corrupts both sides to ever more sordid levels of existence, in their need to gain an advantage over the enemy. Those actively involved in combat are almost always damaged goods for the rest of their lives. If their bodies don't bear scars, their minds do, ofttimes both. Many have said it before, but it can't be said to enough, war is hell. "

                                Awe! Thanks you. That's sweet.

The only JMS thing I've ever loved and gotten super excited for was B5. I've liked some of his other stuff, but not anywhere near as much as B5. I'm just a one-trick pony-fan, I guess.
