  • Ten Year Anniversary of JMSnews Forums!!

I knew it was coming up but I just realized that *today* is the ten year anniversary of when the forums here went live.

    Woo-hoo!!!

Many, MANY thanks to DougO for providing this place for fans.

And to everybody who has ever come to read or post or discuss or even argue. You're an amazing group of people! Do you realize that in the entire history of these forums (yes, I was there...), we've only banned *one* poster for deliberately causing trouble (not counting spammers, of course)? One. A huge testament to the high class of posters this little community attracts.

We're not the biggest or busiest by a long shot but we're the BEST!

    Happy Anniversary!!

      busiest? pfft.

As a primary school teacher I had used to say many hundreds of moons ago "empty vessels make most sound".

I mean, just look at congress....

"There are no good wars. War is always the worst possible way to resolve differences. It degenerates and corrupts both sides to ever more sordid levels of existence, in their need to gain an advantage over the enemy. Those actively involved in combat are almost always damaged goods for the rest of their lives. If their bodies don't bear scars, their minds do, ofttimes both. Many have said it before, but it can't be said to enough, war is hell. "

Thanks to DougO and all those who contribute here. B5 fandom can seem like a dark little corner to be in sometimes, but thanks to the army of light here, I never feel all alone in the night.
What a wonderful world you live in. -
Yeah, well, the rent is cheap, the pay is decent and I get to make my own hours.

Thank you DougO, Jan, and everyone. You provide a place for me to get my words into people's thoughts and I thank you for that. MuHaHaHaHaHa!

But seriously, what a wonderful place that I hope lasts forever.
