  • Babylon 5′s Bruce Boxleitner and Mira Furlan sign on for Scotland Comic Con

    http://www.geeknative.com/41083/baby...and-comic-con/

Bruce Boxleitner, who played John Sheridan, and Mira Furlan, who played Minbari ambassador Delenn in Babylon 5 are coming to MCM Scotland Comic Con. ...

The event is on at the Glasgow SECC on the 7th of September. Geek Native will be attending.

Thanks for the heads up! Since Bruce couldn't attend the Phoenix ComiCon (thus he's the only one who's signature is still missing on my nice cast poster and the B5 20-book) I might even go there. I actually hoped that he would go to the London Con in October, which is bigger (I assume), closer and cheaper from a travel point of view (at least for me). Of course, it still might happen (they may even feature a bigger B5 reunion there than in Scotland, who knows?). Question is: Do I really wanna wait and risk missing him in Glasgow, on the off-chance that he will be in London?

Guess I'll check how much it would cost, alltogether, to attend the con in Scotland before I decide.

Anyone else from this side of the pond contemplating going there?

I would consider this as well. The Glasgow con is just a single day, and collides with a small con in Copenhagen that I am considering going to.

I might have to fly a lot Decision has to be fast.

With London, on the other hand, I could just take the high speed train.

If we both go we will have to arrange to meet again.
