Based upon Joe's posts on RASTB5mod, I doubt that he speaks Belarusian (white Russian). Neither do I speak Belarusian, although I did take one semester of Russian in college. The professor who was born in Moscow told me I had a Chinese accent. I had to rely on Google translate.

Alas, I do not do Facebook. Feel free to re-post this Belarusian greeting on FB.

Wow, didn't realise JMS was approaching that age! I figured early 50s, but had never really stopped to check. Maybe I should have ribs to celebrate and watch 'The Gathering'.

1954 was a very good year. At least two of the people posting to REC.ARTS.SF.TV.BABYLON5.MODERATED were born in that year.

17 July 1955 was a great day. JMS turned 1 years old and Disneyland opened.

I really think he looks younger now than he did back when he was making B5. It really did almost kill him - no hyperbole.

He's less than a year older than me.

There is only six days to prepare for Joe's 59th birthday celebration.

The feast will include the traditional baby back barbeque ribs and nut-free banana ice cream. The Narn Bat Squad will provide entertainment.
