  • What do you want? ;-)

So JMS has come out and said to watch for something amazing. He's also said that it's not necessarily B5 related (but hasn't ruled it out completely, either). There's all sorts of speculation over on his Facebook page so I thought I'd see what y'all would like.

Me, I don't care if it's B5 related or not. What I want is regular and frequent JMS stories*. Probably an original TV show. Weekly. Long seasons. Not necessarily an arc show, either. I think I'd love to see the anthology show JMS once mentioned that he'd like to do.

That's what I want. What about you?

    * For years I used to wish to find a writer who could write fast enough to keep up with my reading speed. Then I found JMS. Unfortunately I have to wait for what he writes to get published or filmed and released - IF it does . Be careful what you wish for...

For me, anything big from JMS after all these years is a good thing !

If I had a specific B5 wish, it would be to see the resolve of the crusade storyline, in any form, be it a serie, book(s), or graphic novel(s)

The problem with answering that is it seems as though what I want is impossible to get in the States.

I want a consistently well-written and entertaining series that doesn't dumb down its writing for the masses.

Nope, the series you just thought of is from Australia. And nope, that one is from the UK - and gave us "Fear Her" ... And nope, that one is from Germany. See what I mean?

And what about casting??? Maybe a show about a hard hitting news anchor with Maggie Egan?

I'd love to see Crusade picked up, but a lot of the original actors wouldn't be available, I think.

I take anything with great character stories. That's what hooks me.

Well, naturally, the greatest actress of our time would be involved. As long as we're dreaming here, the cast would include Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Bill Nighy, Colin Baker, Harriet Jones (former Prime Minister), and Maggie Egan.
