They didn't decide to stop. It was always meant to be a 12 issue run. The question is will they decide to do another run that follows a different story?

A knight thingy to sit on a shelf, how exciting.

Hopefully lots of other people will love and buy it cos it's always nice when peeps buy your stuff.

At this point, I'm thinking a lantern city tv series is as likely as the b5 reboot movie. I wonder why they decided to stop doing the comics, sounds like they were popular enough. Are they losing heart?

The Stockhouse is open over on LanternCityTV.com

    https://lanterncitytv.com/stockhouse...guard-maquette

So far there is just one item to order, but it is pretty awesome looking.

While I am here I should also report that this is the day the final issue of the Lantern City Comic Book is released. I guess I am glad it is here, but I am sad it is over and there is no future announced project other than merchandise. Of course what they have coming on that front sounds pretty cool.

They recently posted this on their Facebook page (which they have been pretty good about keeping up lately.)

Mira Furlan's character is making her debut in the next Issue.

So even if they get a deal and the network doesn't want Mira the comic book character's appearance will always be based on her. The same can be said for Raphael Sbarge's character, who has now appeared in 3 Issues.

And updating my personal feelings on Lantern City I have to say that for awhile I was disappointed with it, but then I realized I was making a mistake. Not really being a comic book person I was looking for the detail you find in a novel. Well this comic is definitely more about the ride than the details. And I am still very impressed with the artwork.

Yeah, I really don't care for comics that much. I want real books, but I do have a few B5 comics. If I break my resolve to not save my money for publishing costs I would go ahead and order at least the ones Martha was in. It's a shame comics were all they've managed to create since it's a terrific universe and they've got wonderful story ideas.

And of course, I know some people love comics and think they're the bestest thing ever and think everything should be a comic. Wish I was one of those people. Guess I'm not geeky enough.

Also Hiiiiiiii Looney! I usually only visit the B5 forum, so I couldn't have even told you this was still here if I wouldn' have seen your post in the index.

OKAY I just finished reading Lantern City #2. I love what this artist is doing and I hope he can keep it up. Thankfully the story is keeping up with the artwork quality. It is very intense. I wouldn't say it is perfect, but I am totally hooked and I can't really predict where it is headed - which is always good. I know there probably aren't any other folks on this forum reading it, but you should be.

I just wanted to give a report. I can't believe I have to wait another month for #3!

    Okay so I know I haven't even down a C2E2 update yet, but . . .

    LANTERN CITY #1 is OUT TODAY ! ! ! !

The biggest update from C2E2 2015's Lantern City panel is that things are still moving forward. The comic is out today and they have had lots of meetings and interest in the TV Show lately. Actually the biggest update is that was great to be around Trevor Crafts and Matthew Daley again and that Raphael Sbarge is AWESOME. I mean that guy was definitely a top 5 convention meet for me. So nice, so gracious, and so passionate about getting Lantern City off the ground. I really only knew his face from the many times I've seen him in stuff. Now I am a fan.

Of course, I'd boot him in a second for Bruce and even faster for Mira.
Of course as soon as I mention his name there is a change. Raphael Sbarge now says Friday only on the C2E2 guest list, but he still has Saturday Autographing times listed on the C2E2 schedule. I guess if he really is there Saturday he'll be at the Lantern City Panel Saturday night.

I had the same concern when they stopped calling it Bruce Boxleitner's Lantern City a few months ago, so I asked Trevor Crafts. He says Mr. Boxleitner is still very much involved. To add to that I know that very soon after the first preview image from the comic was released it was on Boxleitner's Facebook page. He is also still listed on the recently revamped website as a Co-Creator.

All that being said I don't think he is as involved with the day-to-day goings on of Lantern City as he was back in 2012-13. I think, like all of the people on Team Lantern City have been from time to time, he has become very occupied working and can't pay as much attention to the project as he could a couple of years ago. He is even listed as a speaker at the C2E2 panel this coming weekend, but I think it would be a surprise visit because he isn't listed as an official C2E2 guest and, as has been pointed out, his Cedar Cove show just went into production a few weeks ago (I think they are shooting Season 3). It would be great if he is there this weekend, but I am not holding my breathe. I hope he will be there this weekend because I have more than just Lantern City questions for him, including the fingers-crossed question of whether or not he knows if his Allan Bradley/Tron role will be expanded for the IMDB titled Untitled Tron: Legacy Sequel. If he isn't at C2E2 I will be sure to bring up his name and learn anything new about him and his connection to the project.

Looney - Aren't they supposed to be at C2E2 soon? If you have a chance, can you make sure that Bruce is still attached to this? There's a fan on FB who's concerned about the lack of mention of Bruce in this interview and afraid that Bruce isn't involved anymore.

    When in doubt...ask!

Yeah, I mean it took JMS a looooong time to sell B5 to networks. He talks about 'other avenues', and I really think things like Netflix and Amazon are the way forward for original content. They will be major players going forward, and I think TV networks will matter less and less.
