Crap. That figures. Once again, they get our hopes up. Ah well. I had wondered how he was going to do that, Avengers 2, and the Shield tv series.

Great news indeed. Any news on when they will begin filming?

I haven't heard anything yet. The impression I get is that they are still in early pre-production. Mira is the only cast member I have even seen yet. She is the one who is after all.

Any news? On FB, there are some production-planning pics and semi-topical posts, but not much in the way of real information.
Recently, there was a reckoning. It occurred on November 4, 2014 across the United States. Voters, recognizing the failures of the current leadership and fearing their unchecked abuses of power, elected another party as the new majority. This is a first step toward preventing more damage and undoing some of the damage already done. Hopefully, this is as much as will be required.

No word on filming (or even a pick-up, that I'm aware of) but there've been some cast announcements. The ones I remember are Mira Furlan (can't imagine why) and Gigi Edgely.

I heard the John Rhys-Davies news.

I wonder if a show like this would do well in a streaming debut, a la Lilyhammer and House of Cards...

If funding was lacking, I would imagine they could raise a significant amount on Kickstarter. Especially with who they have attached so far.

Big Lantern City update, a 'making of' trailer just hit the web

Not seen it yet (streaming media is blocked at my office), but thought the rest of you might appreciate this!

Looks like it's a series of still photos. I've been trying to load it for a few minutes but it may be busy.

                          Same problem

Yep, I am having the same issue. Just keeps loading, and loading, and loading, and loading . . . you get the idea.

Same here. Looks like a bunch of stills, not a trailer. I misread the post this morning and thought it was a full on promo trailer. At least we know they're shooting a trailer!

                              True

This is true. They are clearly doing something. I must admit. After hearing about this from you guys I am really getting interested in this series. I hope it gets done.
