  • Marc Zicree Kickstarter for new SF Movies/Series

Marc Zicree who wrote "Survivors" in season one of B5 and also wrote for ST-DS9 & Sliders is running a Kickstarter campaign for "Space Command" a new series of SF films. He's already almost reached his goal and with 58 more days to go should wind up blowing it away. That would allow him to shoot more than one of the films right away. Most of the featured actors are from the ST universe rather than B5, but I bet some of you will want to back this project.

This is a great idea and a shout-out from JMS for Space Command would be well received by the B5 community.

According to Marc Zicree's presentation they've already got some well known names onboard:
      Armin Shimerman
      Bill Mummy
      Ethan Phillips
      Robert Picardo
      Rachel Luttrel

Model maker extraordinaire Steve Neill is building a practical model of the Clippership for 5% of the shots...
Space Command Clipper build Part One This is going to be an exciting one for me guys. Steve

And it's sure to look great with With Doug Drexler in charge the visual FX.

It looks great. I love retro.
Recently, there was a reckoning. It occurred on November 4, 2014 across the United States. Voters, recognizing the failures of the current leadership and fearing their unchecked abuses of power, elected another party as the new majority. This is a first step toward preventing more damage and undoing some of the damage already done. Hopefully, this is as much as will be required.

Both of those links appear to be dead.

Power to the fans. Nice to see this doing well.
Captain John Sheridan: I really *hate* it when you do that.

              Kosh: Good!

                Just checking -

The RPF link leads to a series of Steve Neil's youtube videos documenting his fabrication of the Clipper Ship:
Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Your right about Doug Drexler's link, he dropped out of the project due to artistic differences.
Unrelated but even more distressing is that he took down his entire blog.

                Fear-not, the project continues...
Marc Zicree just released this youtube clip of Mira Furlan and Jelena Mrjda and Space Command will be at the San Diego Comic-Con.

This really looks very promising! More meat on the bones here than something like Lantern City (which I also hope makes it to fruition). Will be exciting watching this develop.
