Originally posted by Karen View PostI appreciate the sentiment, but have a real aversion to twitter. If I hadn't been stalking, I mean trying to find, my stepson after he got a new phone number, but hadn't gotten around to telling us yet, I wouldn't even be on FB. I signed on initially just to tell him to call me, and before you knew it I had a bunch of friends. Now I have to check it daily. I would rather not enslave myself to another social network, thank-you very much.
Nice story. It's not stalking with a new stepson, it's your job.
With JMS...that's stalking!

Let me be the first to say that I'll read what JMS tweets without signing up for Twitter just for that...
(AFAIK unless the twitterer changes some privacy settings all of his posts will appear in a URL related to their user name, the one above is JMS's)
If posts are in reply to another a triangle that appears on the top right side of the tweet on mouseover displays the "conversation".
Let me also say that I much appreciate that his Facebook posts are reposted in the forums, I also don't have a facebook account.
It would be nice if the FB posts were archived. Hopefully DougO won't get in trouble if he grabs the FB posts automatically, I've read about several recent cases of Facebook acting in strange manners to "protect" their "product" (the personal info you post, which they use to sell and place ads). Better check that there isn't a copyright transfer clause in facebook saying that whatever JMS posted is now property of FB and can't be reposted.
IANAL (but I believe some around here may be and might be able to clarify).Such... is the respect paid to science that the most absurd opinions may become current, provided they are expressed in language, the sound of which recalls some well-known scientific phrase

JMS just posted on Twitter that Superman: Earth One has been on the New York Times bestseller list for graphic novels for 26 weeks. Also that Vol. 2 is progressing nicely.
