Okay, I'm bored so I've done some work on putting together a comprehensive list of all JMS material that's out on DVD or Blu-Ray that he wrote for all those that are obsessed like Jan or myself. I tried to make it easy by what seasons you have to buy to get the JMS episodes so you don't have to sort through IMDB. So far here's what I've found availible on DVD officially released but not necessarily bought (in alphabetical order):
TV:
Babylon 5 Seasons 1 - 5
Babylon 5 TV Movies
Babylon 5 Legend of the Rangers
Crusade The Complete Series
*He-man and the masters of the Universe Seasons 1 - 2 (9 Eps)
*Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors (13 episodes)
Jeremiah Season 1 - 2
Murder She Wrote Season 8-9 (7 Episodes)
*She-Ra The Princess of Power Season 1 Volume 2 (5 Episodes)
The New Twilight Zone Season 2-3 (12 Episodes)
Walker, Texas Ranger Season 1 (1 Episode)
*The Real Ghostbusters Complete Series (21 episodes)
Movies:
Changeling
Ninja Assassin (Out on the 15th of March)
VHS:
Nightmare Classics - ( http://www.amazon.com/Strange-Case-D.../dp/6301589130 )
Online Stream:
Spiral Zone Cartoon, one episode. It is online to watch at: http://fliiby.com/file/255260/us9a9ncx7b.html
* denotes that it's a cartoon.
Not able to find, need info if it's somewhere watchable:
- The Murder She Wrote TV Movie A Story To Die For
- Jake And the Fatman (the first 2 seasons are out I've seen but JMS wrote seasons 3 and 4. Season 2 was released 5/5/2009. I don't know how long normal hiatus is between seasons if they're going to release them)
- Captain Power (there is a fan produced dvd or blu-ray set which someone dubbed from the out of print VHS from back in the day from http://www.captainpower.com)
- CBS Storybreak (Haven't heard of this)
I can say from what I have, the twilight zone was worth getting for sure. In addition to the JMS episodes, the whole series is really something that's a good watch, and there's a lot of quality writers involved.
I'm going to pick up murder she wrote because I thought that show was decent, and it'll be worth it for that amount of episodes. I really would like to know if that TV movie is out anywhere on DVD most out of the unreleased stuff.
Walker, Texas Ranger....I guess if I can find it used or something. One episode is not really worth buying a whole dvd set for.
Has anyone had much experience with the cartoons? Are they something that as adults are still watchable? And same with captain power for that matter.
