Hmm...looks like there might be the possibility of registering Thursday night. I'll have to check what time my flight gets in.

Sheesh...I still have Toronto first and I'm concentrating on Atlanta.

That's what I've always done ... Go in on Thursday, get the ticket then, and no *ticket* lines after that.

I've watched those lines sometimes, and it's crazy ... I've known people who have waited anywhere from six to TEN hours on Friday and/or Saturday just to get their badges, before they can even go into the con. No, thankies. I'm happy to go in on Thursday, stand in line for a couple hours, and be done with it. Especially with things now starting at 10 in the morning on Friday, it just makes sense to get it over with first.

Not that I'll actually be there to do that this time, but still.

Last time I went I waited over two hours and thought that was ridiculous. I absolutely don't understand why everything's not already done by the time we get there. The filling out registration cards when you get there is beyond stupid.

But then, I'm spoiled by San Diego. THEY know how to run registration. For a lot less, I might add.

This is year 3 for me and I've preregisted all three times. My line usually takes about 15-20 minutes on Thursday night.

The lines on Saturday are scary in ways I can't quite comprehend. It's like you can almost see the souls being sucked out of the people.

I'll be coming in Thursday, and good thing too I'll have to be out by 8am to wait in line for B5.

Yeah, well, the rent is cheap, the pay is decent and I get to make my own hours.

Looks like I may miss the Friday session since my plane doesn't get in until too late to get my badge on Thursday night.

Would either of you be willing to pick up an autographed pic while you're at D*C? There's just one guest I'm sad I won't have the chance to meet this year. And it's not Shatner. lol

Ditto on the birthday wishes. If Jan can't grab it, I will. Just let her or I know.

Thanks, everyone. It's been a pretty spectacular day, couldn't have asked for better. And how often can I say that?

Rats! I was hoping to "attend" by proxy from reading Jan's report.
