When I saw the MTV article I laughed to myself and thought that it 38 Joe years to achieve overnight success. I should have included smileys to indicate the irony of the MTV article, but I thought it was self evident.

  • J. Michael Straczynski: HollywoodÆs Overnight Success Story?

Published by Josh Horowitz on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 4:45 pm.
Meet J. Michael Straczynski. 54-years-old. Veteran writer of everything from ôBabylon 5ö to the that ôHe-Manö cartoon in the 80s (I know, I got excited when I saw that on his resume too.) And overnight success story?...

For Straczynski, suddenly one of the hottest screenwriters in Hollywood (heÆs writing films for Paul Greengrass and Marc Forster among others), itÆs done nothing less than change the course of his career. ôThis has transformed my life. In everyoneÆs life there is an æit.Æ You get married. You get divorced. You lose a kid. ThereÆs a life before it and a life after it. This was æitÆ for me.
