Well, with him being at Emerald City in May, hopefull we'll get some news then. I had noticed his absence as well. I'm sure it's because he's swamped.

I'm somewhat new to this board, and hence the moderated posts from JMS. Is this typical for him? I got the feeling from discussions, and my past several months here that he he does regularly post. What a wonderful world you live in. -
Yeah, well, the rent is cheap, the pay is decent and I get to make my own hours.

I think this is a first for skipping an entire two months. For a while now he's mostly been just posting updates, though, so maybe there's nothing he can talk about yet? Hopefully he'll have pleny to tell us in Seattle.

Fortunately, British Airways has a direct flight from Seattle, Washington to Marseille, France on May 13, 2008 just in time for the opening ceremony. First class seats are still available. Marseille is only a two hour drive from Cannes.

Changeling at Cannes
Looks like Changeling will première at Cannes - in competition, no less!
Clint's 'Changeling' set for Cannes
So better book that flight.
As for JMS, either he or someone doing a passable imitation of him posted to the World War Z board at IMDB last week admonishing script traders
Guys, here's a simple question.
Do you want to see this film made, or just talk about the script?
Studios get very nervous when drafts leak out, and they get even more nervous when people start taking it apart, good or bad, online...it can make them think too many people have seen it, start reconsidering their opinions, and the next thing you know it's back in development hell or gone. I've seen several projects at this sensitive stage literally scuttled by such things.
If all you want is to talk about the script, then great...but if you want to see Max Brooks' novel brought to film, brought to life, and maybe make one of the best zombie movies in a long time, can we declare a moratorium on both analyses and passing around my script (which people shouldn't have in any event) until AFTER the film gets made?
Thanks.Last edited by Belbo; 04-23-2008, 08:32 AM.

If I understand it correctly. Though acknowledge I could be well wrong on this. Was the moderated group not essentially part of the experiment of showing how B5 was being made. As thatÆs done and dusted (until more TLTÆs appear) he is now more inclined to post on other sites û more movie orientated now. Which is understandable.
