can't belive no-one has mentioned this
    Neil Gaiman
I Think him and JMS could make beautful stuff together.

"There are no good wars. War is always the worst possible way to resolve differences. It degenerates and corrupts both sides to ever more sordid levels of existence, in their need to gain an advantage over the enemy. Those actively involved in combat are almost always damaged goods for the rest of their lives. If their bodies don't bear scars, their minds do, ofttimes both. Many have said it before, but it can't be said to enough, war is hell. "

Should I point out that JMS and Gaiman have already worked together on Day of the Dead? Although he didn't take any credit, there are are a number of tweaks and rewrites that Joe did on Neil's script. But I know that's not what you meant; we're talking about bigger, cooler projects.

        ME!! Bwa-ha-ha!

What, you have to actually be published to count?

Bah! Just because Whedon's already done one "Epic Monster Ensemble Story," while I can't even get mine out from my head yet, doesn't mean it couldn't be awesome someday. Right after pigs fly and Jerry Doyle gets elected President.

Gosh. Writing wise, JMS/Joss Whedon would be interresting, as would him teaming up with Ronald Moore. I also would like to see him and Terrance Dicks work together.

Acting wise, I would love to see Bruce Campbell, Sir Derek Jacobi, and Brian Blessed work with him, along with Michael O'Hare if he is still acting. All in the same project would be cool.

David weber comes to mind now, also i think jms would do a good job adapting anne mccaffrey's crystal singer trilogy into a series of movies or miniseries. mainly i think that because he understand how o build a character and make it interesting while to wold happens in the background and those books are ver much character based

also i could see him working with robin cook on either a writen or a visual media.

i'd also love to see jms work in the fantasy genre, perhaps with hicks/weisman, jeff grubb, or shana abe

The lineup I liked to see the most would be JMS / Joss Whedon. But also JMS / Daniel Knauf (Carnivale) could become interesting...

I'd never heard that Ron Moore quote before. Very cool.

I joked about it being blasphemous because Ron worked on DS9. Of course, Ron did not create DS9 and I think he had a lot to do with improving the show from season 3 onwards.

He certainly couldn't have hurt it. I don't think JMS would hold RM accountable for somethingin Paramount and most likely Berman did. At that time, RM was still in his "yes, sir, Mr Berman, sir" phase. Thank goodness that's over.

DS9 got the better writers from TNG IMO, and Moore is one of my favorites. But creatively from mid-season 3 onwards it was Ira Behr's show and a lot of credit to improving the show should probably go to him.
