  • Video of JMS at San Diego Comic-Con 2005

I've made available video of the JMS session at Comic-Con 2005. It is broken up into three 30 minutes segments at the below links:

    J. Michael Straczynski at San Diego Comic-Con 2005 Part 1

    J. Michael Straczynski at San Diego Comic-Con 2005 Part 2

    J. Michael Straczynski at San Diego Comic-Con 2005 Part 3

It's a great session with lots of good stories and advice. I suggest checking it out, particularly if you haven't heard JMS speak before.

There was a bit of echo in the room which makes the audio a little difficult to understand at times. After listening for a few minutes it seems to get better.

    Enjoy,

I agree. JMS doesn't do very many conventions so if you can't get to SDCC or another con, this will be great. I'm at a local SF con right now but I'll check it out and refresh my memory once I get home.

    Thanks, Doug!

      Great Stuff!

I was surprised how many great questions the audience asked. It was almost like JMS was forcing the audience to not ask silly stuff (the lot for most equivalent talks, and in fact the basis for some of the early questions). Thanks for sharing this.
I believe that when we leave a place, part of it goes with us and part of us remains. Go anywhere in the station, when it is quiet, and just listen. After a while, you will hear the echoes of all our conversations, every thought and word we've exchanged. Long after we are gone .. our voices will linger in these walls for as long as this place remains. But I will admit .. that the part of me that is going .. will very much miss the part of you that is staying.
