JMS at New York Comic Con-Who's Coming?

It's now five weeks until New York Comic Con where JMS is scheduled to appear as one of the Guests of Honor. I'm pretty sure that this is his first con appearance since he announced TLT back at SDCC last July. A lot has happened with him professionally since then.

I'll be going. No way I'm going to miss JMS's first appearance since B5: TLT was filmed to hear what kind of hints or stories he has.

Moi aussi. I'll be there. Coming in early to meet up with some clients (which will allow me to write off at least some of the trip, huzzah!), and looking forward to seeing my old stomping grounds again. Oh, and seeing JMS, too.

I'll be there but I'll be there early, a little bit before it starts as I have friends with the passes to get in. I really hope I can see JMS then. He's the main reason I'm going!

Obviously I won't be going, since there is an entire ocean between me and New York. But I just saw that they will be doing a podcast for us folks who can't be there. Apparently they'll also be doing interviews, one of the interviewees being JMS. So I'll have to remind myself to check this out when the con starts next month.

I'm tempted to go (I'm, what, a bit more than an hour away?), but my idiot's schedule has me running night shifts every weekend. I'll have to see what I can do about that.

LOL! No, I was trying to find out if they've posted a schedule yet and got sidetracked. They still have 2006 findable but no sign of 2007. It's early yet but I sent a message to the show manager (or whatever his/her/its title is) and haven't heard back yet.

The other thing that anybody thinking of going should know is that the advance purchase rates are considerably lower than if you pay at the door.

Hotel room - check
Plane fare - check
Convention ticket - check
