Mira Furlan's Autobiography link to pre-order

Our pre-order got lost at some point. A shipping label was going to be created in December, but they never got the book there. We inquired recently and they sent out an actual copy which arrived yesterday. No idea when I'll get a chance to read it, but I am looking forward to it. Quite a hefty volume.

I haven't gotten very far. It's a nice big thick book but...it's a nice big thick book and I much prefer e-books anymore. But what I've read is good.

I try to read real books as much as possible (perhaps a few minutes a day) these days. Staring at a screen almost every wake hour have started taking its toll on my eyes unfortunately.

How is everything going with your books? I got my copy about two weeks ago. Have not had the time to start reading it yet though.

Got my copy, but haven't read it yet, as Mira Furlan's death is still intensely depressing to me.

I hear you. Got my two copies two weeks ago. I thought I would start it immediately, but your sentiment has kept me from it. I feel like it is going to be quite painful. (Second copy is for my mother, but she has been traveling and I have yet to ship it to her.)

As Jan the Intrepid Reporter mentioned a few posts back, received the Free Gift by email (aka: Digital Free Gift) on January 4th.
It was a B&W picture of Mira labeled "mira2---photo.jpg".

So far as the book itself goes -- picked up mine on the 5th!!! Looks like it took ten days from the date of the Paypal Shipping email.




Now have TWO (oh no!) great books to read.

Mine (well, my first-the second will be a gift) arrived today. It's a whopping 590 pages. It'll take me some time to read since I'll only be able to read it while sitting at a table. But I can tell already I'm going to love it!

What was the "free gift // bonus for ordering early"?

Still unknown. I did email them and they responded that "yes, the gift will be delivered digitally very soon.", So I wonder if it might be one or more of the songs that Mira performed on her albums? Guess we'll find out.
