I like them a lot. And it's fun to read the short story book he did along with watching-a precurser to his script books <g>. In this case, the written stories are better than the televised episodes since they could show much less back then.

I've read the short story book and really enjoyed most of them. Are the eps the same as the stories in tv format pretty much? I might get it because your word in taste means a lot to me
The stories are the same but you have to remember that back then, JMS could be rewritten and TV was very 'clean' back then. As an example, the graphic descriptions of the cruelty/beatings of the husband in the story with the doberman aren't shown. I'm sure it was pretty daring for the times but the written version is much more effective.
Don't get me wrong, they're good. I just prefer 'pure' JMS stuff. Another reason to get the DVD set is because of the other writers who did episodes for New TZ.

George R.R. Martin, David Gerrold, Theodore Sturgeon, Rockne S. O'Bannon, Micheal Cassutt, Christy Marx. Oh, and some guy named Harlan Ellison. And that's just the ones *I* recognize-and I'm hopeless with names.
I am still amazed at the gore and violence in the War of the Worlds series. This was syndicated.
Recently, there was a reckoning. It occurred on November 4, 2014 across the United States. Voters, recognizing the failures of the current leadership and fearing their unchecked abuses of power, elected another party as the new majority. This is a first step toward preventing more damage and undoing some of the damage already done. Hopefully, this is as much as will be required.

Oh wow, that's quite an amazing roll there. Now..did the one that was recently done like 2 years ago have names like that attached to it as well?
Don't know. I only caught a few of them. I know they did a sequel episode to the famous Bill Mumy episode about the little boy who could wish people into the cornfield.
I wasn't overwhelmed with the most recent remake. There were a few good stories (like the aformentioned 'Good Life' sequel), but it wasn't anywhere near as edgy as the eighties revival. Just one person;s opinion of course.

I saw the one where the person had an "accident" and looked like a "freak" and they had it dark the whole ep while doctors told the person not to worry or whatever..and when it finally lit up, everyone looked like monsters but the person looked completely normal. That was decent, though I think it's a remake of one from the 60s. I never got into Twilight Zone too much, or Outer Limits. When I was little they scared me and I never bothered to watch them again
There was a cute classic ep where these miniature spacemen were attacking an old woman in her home. At the end, we find out that she was a giant on another planet and the spacemen were astronauts.
