  • JMS announced as regular Fantastic Four writer

Thought you might be interested in this:

JMS discusses his thoughts on the characters and plans for the book. His run starts with April's #524, and he says he's in it for the long haul. Should be fun.

That is good news. Dang, my comic shop's going to love him even more now. I'm about thier 15th customer who gets 'any and everything by Straczynski' in their subscription box.

I have a feeling some of the denizens of r.a.c.m.u. are going to go bonkers over this, though.

Is there any truth to the rumor that She-Hulk will be coming back with Ben Grimm's kids?
(a joke about the Gwen Stacy situation in Spider Man)

        Wah-hooooo!

I was bummed when I found out a while back that Waid was leaving the title, but this is defenitely the one replacement I find acceptable!

          Artist announced

Here's another couple of articles: http://198.65.99.89/forums/showthrea...threadid=24137

The first just has JMS discussing a bit more about his plans and ideas; I especially like the bit about developing their kids as characters more. He certainly did a good job with Spider-Man's family.

The second announces the artist, Mike McKone. I think it's excellent news; I enjoyed his work on Exiles and Teen Titans, and he's perfect for the FF. His style is light and fun, but he can do serious drama when it's called for.

Yet another jms project in the works.

The thing I'd really get excited about though is when/if he starts up his next tv show.

Why do most of JMS' stories pit the characters against "The Man?" I know the history of Reed and the gubment, but why revisit that again?

Anti-Government Phobia has a worldwide distribution, but has a particularly high incidence in the United States. Infection rates are estimated by mental health officials to be about 5% of the general population, and this rate is growing at an alarming rate. Rates are highest, but not limited to, those who are disaffected in some fashion, especially those who have a strong personal grudge against the federal government for one reason or another.-from CLINICAL ANALYSIS OF ANTI-GOVERNMENT PHOBIA by Sarah Thompson, MD
Recently, there was a reckoning. It occurred on November 4, 2014 across the United States. Voters, recognizing the failures of the current leadership and fearing their unchecked abuses of power, elected another party as the new majority. This is a first step toward preventing more damage and undoing some of the damage already done. Hopefully, this is as much as will be required.
