JMS & the Jeremiah Comic Series

This is one of those crossover questions which I could have asked in either the Jeremiah or Comic Book areas.

Has JMS contributed to the Comic Series which inspired Jeremiah?

He obviously has a love for the series as he based the tv show on it and is a very competant writer of comic books.

Not that I've heard, no. I have heard that his contract with Marvel is exclusive so that might preclude his being involved also.

Do you know when it's due out? I'd like to check out at least a few issues.

I'm very certain that the answer is NO.
Didn't he write or say something about that when the tv series was starting up?
