JMS just posted a link with info on good prices for some of his current and past titles in digital format:
Also, for the collectors out there, Sidekick #8 will have a foil cover (first for Joe's comics) so orders will need to be in early. JMS previewed it here:

From JMS' Facebook page. Okay, one's not a Joe's Comics imprint...oh, well.
Originally posted by Fans of J. Michael StraczynskiAnother red-letter week for JMS books: Coming out this Wednesday we have Sidekick 6 (Barry begins his turn to the dark side), The Adventures of Apocalypse Al 3 (Al battles the dark side in a theme park because where else would you find that kind of soul-killing darkness) and Terminator Salvation Final Battle 5 (let's be honest, it's all the dark side).

No new comics this week but I noticed that in Apocalypse Al there was a URL printed along with the QR code for smart phones. For anybody who hasn't heard them, here are the links to the Issue #1 audio dramas for Joe's Comics (so far):

Protector's Inc.: http://studiojms.com/protectors-inc-audio/

Enjoy!

Nice new newsletter from Joe's comics with preview pages from 'Dream Police' and cover previews of that and other titles.
I love the art and coloring I'm seeing on all of these.

Banner day at the comic shop this coming Wednesday, Feb. 5:
Holy crap...I just realized that I'd written down a date wrong...turns out that next Wednesday not only are The Adventures of Apocalypse Al #1 and Sidekick #5 hitting comic stores from Joe's Comics and Image, but so are issue 2 of the Twilight Zone book I'm doing for Dynamite AND issue 3 of the Terminator title I'm writing for Dark Horse.
Four books on the same day...I may pass out....
Here are the covers for all four issues in one spot....
Woo-hoo!!

I asked how long it takes for JMS to write a comic script.
Jan: about a week to ten days, sometimes faster, sometimes slower, depending on whether or not the story is cooperating.

General comic update from JMS:

JMS posted an interview from his table at SDCC. Of particular interest might be what he says about "Alone" with Bill Sienkiewicz:
J. Michael Straczynski's Image Comics imprint Joe's Comics is off and running with two titles and lots more to come. Watch the PREVIEWSworld interview to learn more about Ten Grand, Sidekick and what's to come!
(oh, good lord...I actually spelled Bill's name correctly without looking!)

Just found it in the newly posted Quick Guide. The J. Michael Straczynski table in Artist Alley is II-16 which is on an aisle and there's probably some line-up room available, depending on whether the entry doors will be open or not.

Wouldn't be surprised if he's there some of the time but apparently there'll be a separate Joe's Comics table as there was in Chicago.
Originally posted by Fans of J. Michael StraczynskiNot yet, we're waiting to be assigned a table in Artist's Alley.

I asked JMS about how many of the con variants there would be and he replied:
Originally posted by Fans of J. Michael StraczynskiThere will be 500 of each variant sold at the Studio JMS/Joe's Comics table, and Ten Grand #4 with the regular cover, also by Brian Templesmith, is still available for pre-order.
