So don't read it, dregj. You've already admitted that you're only scanning thme in the store so it's not as if you're getting any kind of in-depth look at what's being done.

And, really, do you think that companies are around for fun? Why would any company publish anything unless they had an expectation of profit.

Yeah, I wish there were a lot more of those non-profit comic book companies around.

Only one I'm not digging so far is Comedian. Silk Spectre has been my favorite story; not quite sure why but probably the 60s San Francisco scene thing there resonates I guess. I think the others have been quite interesting so far. But I have not yet read Dr. Manhattan! Next stop!

                Never should have happened.
Recently, there was a reckoning. It occurred on November 4, 2014 across the United States. Voters, recognizing the failures of the current leadership and fearing their unchecked abuses of power, elected another party as the new majority. This is a first step toward preventing more damage and undoing some of the damage already done. Hopefully, this is as much as will be required.

I loved the way JMS is telling the Dr. Manhattan story. I expected it to give me a headache with time travel and physics and all but it's really well done!

The final issue of the Night Owl mini, #4 came out today. I don't see any preview pages on the DC site yet. Maybe JMS will find some and post them later on.

Some info on Dr. Manhattan issue 4, for those who may care.

"Retailers have been warned that Before Watchmen: Doctor Manhattan #4 will feature several pages ôprinted upside downö but that ôThis is part of the storytelling, and should not be considered an error.ö

                              Heh...
Captain John Sheridan: I really *hate* it when you do that.

                              Kosh: Good!

Been a while since JMS did something like that in comics. I remember his 'look through' pages from Book of Lost Souls and (IIRC) one of the Rising Stars books.

I'm sure that future Ebay auctions will feature the 'rare printing error'.
