  • "The Twelve" wins CSN "award"

Well, not an award you'd WANT.

Reader's letters printed in this week's Comic Shop News's "The Red K Awards: The Readers Reply" section gave "The Twelve" the "It Dozen Seem Right" award.

While I was relieved to learn here that JMS is still working on this, it would appear that that news has not been widely disseminated.

In a recent interview I think JMS said that Marvel was going to have an announcement about it shortly. They don't seem to be in any hurry.

I think JMS and Marvel aren't on great terms now that he's basically taking over the Distinguished Competition

If they aren't on great terms it's probably more due to the Joe Quesada One More Day fiasco than his work with DC. JMS said they weren't on speaking terms and he had a liaison at Marvel to handle communication between the two of them. As for The Twelve though, Chris Weston said recently that he's almost finished with issue #9, so Joe finally got that script turned in.
