The ending to jms's spiderman really sucked it was so anti climactic. It even goes against happy birthday spiderman in that he's crying that May dies and that he's told he has a son named Ben and in one more day instead he has a daughter. I guess that's what happens when you write something over a number of years you forget wha you wrote before.
