An interesting article with more art samples from "Moths" and quotes from artist Mike Choi coming June 2. The six-issue miniseries focuses on Emily Kai and each issue is a month of her six-month lifespan once she activates her gift.

How does one even buy comics anymore? The nearest comic shop to me is over 50miles away an quite honestly it can be a problematic trying to keep up with a series over long distance like that. It worked for me during the Joe's Comics runs like Ten Grand because I had a sympathetic dealer who was good about keeping that stuff set aside for me until I could get there to get them. That shop no longer exists. Just curious about the best way to buy these days.

Mine doesn't exist anymore either and the one other shop I tried had somebody on the counter that day who seriously didn't like JMS. So what I'm doing is getting them through Comixology at first and then buying the trade when it comes out. Also keeps the clutter of the pamphlets down, an added benefit.

Yeah, I think I've mentioned that to DougO quite some time ago after the last update. It's a feature I'd like to have, too.

Anybody else reading "Moths"? It didn't take me long to get used to the art style (I still like it a lot) and JMS says that each of the six issues will be about a month. One thing that I'm still not sure about is how the main character knows she's a Moth? I saw that there's a test for it but how did she, or any of the others know that she's got that latent ability in the first place? Maybe I missed it?

"Moths" #2 came out today. It's just really lovely art-wise and I *love* Emily's power!
