Jan, I haven't heard anything about the graphic novel of BoLS. Have you heard anything? I thought it was supose to be out around the 22nd of May.

Amazon now says August 30th. Unamusingly, they did not update my order with this info.

Amazon incorrectly listed the release date as May. I had to contact my editor and clarify.

The correct date is August, though it should be out in comics shops several weeks before it is available on Amazon.

Honestly, it's been murder working on this one. I spent a few months working almost exclusively in the manga style on another project adn reverting back to Book of Lost Souls has been very difficult. I only did three pages last week. Manga can be bad for your drawing chops, apparently.

Of course all thsi waiting (since I oprdered it in MArch ) makes the anticipation all teh sweeter.

Yes, it's being solicited for an August release in the Marvel Previews for products shipping in August. Collects BoLS #1-6; 144 pages, $16.99.

I don't recommend prayer for ordering books, of any type. Asking your retailer works better.

More to come

According to the interview, the regular comic will return in October. I'm looking forward to finding out more about Buddy's alter-ego and see where the rest of the story goes. I was getting concerned that Marvel wasn't going to continue it but seeing that interview helped allay those concerns. Hopefully all of those who didn't buy the comic because they were waiting for the Graphic Novel collection will step up to the plate.

I have all the single issues. I've been considering about buying the trade so that I could lend it to friends. When one experiences such a great story, it's great to see friends enjoy the story also.
