I read your interview on comicbookresources.com today. Your insanely busy.

Everybody knows, ad nauseum, the comics industry is abundant in male creators. Too many male pencilers CAN'T keep up with ONE monthly comic.

Yet, here you are...doing several projects, showing the female creators of tomorrow that it can be done. You are woman; I hear a roar.

I finally pieced the Reign of the Zodiac run through LCS & Mile High Comics. I read the whole thing. I loved the artwork, of course. I'm a fan of Giffen's writing, but his writing on RotZ didn't grab me. I promised you months ago that I would buy/read it, and so I have.

I look forward to your upcoming Stealth Tribes OGN.

Glad you liked it! I really enjoyed working on that story and would like to do more work in that style.

Oh my god, Colleen. The story is hilarious, embarrassing (for you ex-friend), and a great read.

The title "Yellow Fever" made me laugh since I'm Asian. I hope the anthology is successful enough for DH to put this out every year or so, of course, to include more of your stories.

The six page story packs so much story. I love it. The layout and design allows for the re-reader to pick up all the different details and nuances you infused into each panel. In short, it rewards multiple readings. The pacing is perfect for this short story.

Ha! Funny question.

The photo of me was me taking a nap on the front porch of my house. I thought it was kind of funny and I liked it best upside down. So, I sent it in. I think it makes me look like the exclamation point on the cover.

I know this is not a Colleen Doran site, but since she's working with the Great Maker...

Colleen has written, illustrated and lettered a story "Yellow Fever" in the anthology.

Her photo is on the bottom, right hand of the book cover. Apparently, she likes her eyes closed and hangs upside down. What's up with that?
